Parking in Harpenden on a Sat?

According to this there's loads of spaces either free or 3 or quid for the day - is this right? Can I expect to find a space easily?

Harpenden's a pretty small place and the main shopping area is surrounded by residential areas. No problem finding free parking if you don't mind a small walk. 5 mins max.

Lydekker Park - the one on Sun Lane on that (useless) map is usually OK.

Theres a fair amount of car parking...or just park in the residential but I have never needed to....also have the train station car parks....not sure how much they are and also the pool car park that you have to pay
