Just to let you know that the Herts 4x4 Off Road Club are running a day for Help the Heroes, giving people the opportunity to be driven around an off-road course near Standon, Herts (for a donation!)

Sunday 28th March, 10am-4pm.

Basically, it's good fun if you've never experienced it before and kids love it. You'll be surprised what a 4x4 can do and you'll be having a good look through the classifieds afterwards...

Just pop a long for a quick go, or stick around and grab some lunch too.

Twinney Wood, Broken Green Farm, Wellpond Green, Standon, SG11 1NH

Will definately be there.

One thing though, given it's only 3~4 miles up the road, I would have thought I would have heard of this already - but haven't.

I'm a big supporter of HfH - is there anything I can do to help advertise in the Hadhams?

Cheers
Andy

Ooh, meant to make it clear. It's RIDES for charity, not a chance to drive your car round yourselves. Be great to get some support.

Posters should start appearing in shop windows within the next day or so. It is a great cause and I know that a lot of people have put a fair bit of work into making the day happen, so please pass it on - word of mouth works very well!

Thanks.

I know. Just more fun blatting across Hertfordshire in the Caterham to get there than trudging over in my daily shed. wink

If you would like, e-mail me a copy of the poster via PM and I'll pop a copy into the Londis in Much Hadham, The Bull (again in Much hadham) and up at my footy Club in Ware plus any others I can think of!

There's a bit of a problem with the file which I haven't sussed. H4H has a very strict approach to how the posters are done, so I'll see if I can get a scanned version of a hard copy and send it over. Thanks for the offer!

I took my boys up there this morning for a ride - it was excellent fun and the boys enjoyed it tremendously. Took the opportunity to have a natter with a couple of the team up there - very friendly bunch indeed!

Amazing what those Landies can do....! thumbup
