Has anyone else noticed the large hawk looking birds that often sit on the fence between Hemel and the A5 junction of the M1 ??

I'm not a bird watcher, but I always notice seeing these MASSIVE browny/reddy looking birds sitting on the fence watching the traffic and I think they look amazingly beautiful.

I'd love to know some more about these if anyone can help..

Not unless it was near Leighton...

We're over-run with red kites in and around Hemel, but they do make a nice sight soaring on the wing...
