Wavendon - the most amazing place on earth! ;-)
Discussion
..is Wavendon really really nice or something? since buying my place 'just outside MK' i obviously check to see what prices are doing. getting a bit bored i had a look at prices over that way... HOW MUCH!? i concluded..! we never viewed anything over there..so i hadn;t appreciated how (what there is for sale at least) seems to be very dear for what it is..(?)
I think it's because it's a villagey feel, but is right on top of Milton Keynes and the motorway. Some of the houses are quite big over that side of the town, but it's not "that" great.
Maybe it's the garden centres that hoik the prices up
How are you settling in to your new home Brisk?

alright thank you. thank you for asking.
we've got our bedroom nicely sorted enough with some paint and sorted someother bits by painting them. it's going to be kept 'retro' until we have enough to do some 'big' projects and move rooms around.
oh and we've chopped loads of trees and bushes and stuff to make maintainence easier. despite the state of my arms i have not yet despaired of the giant garden
in some ways I would have liked to be your side but it IS undeniably easier for us to both get to work and we did 'luck out' a bit with this property.
and that's the thing really.. one of the wavendon rightmove places is v similar to ours in many respects but is 150k more than we paid with a garden way smaller... and only so much can be explained by the 'middlingness' of my village..9and only so much the fortue of us paying what we did) hence why i wondered what's so ace about Wavendon given the motorway proximty etc!!
