Lots of Plod near the B660?

This morning I had to pop into our site at Thurleigh(next door to the Bedford Autodrome) and from Thurleigh village to Wilden I saw 5 full traffic cars parked up in field entrances, a plod lurking in a hedge and a swiftly driven unmarked Vectra with a pair of right burlys in the front....any idea of what was goin' down?

They would be better tootling about at 23:30 when all the pissed farmers are driving home from the pubs!!! My Dad lives in Bolnhurst and the only time he has had to pull anyone out of the hedge is at midnight.

Yup the run from Glatton down to Kimbolton is pretty good and amazingly the road surface is only poor rather than Fenland death trap poor I'm more used to
