yes, REAL lager (ie not the badly interpreted, poorly made, overly fizzy/gassy, bland kiddypop ste!)

hehe I used to carry one in my bag, is only since I bought a new bag I've forgotten to swop it out. Yesterday I measured a Tiv using one foot in front of the other!!

Shame on you Mr M. Get your priorities right wink

I did take a tape measure but the garage was full to the brim with "stuff". Long enough but it's the girth the I'm concerned about. I'll just have to shave a bit off the sides.

"you call that a goddam garage boyyy" biggrin

heres what i sampled last night,

Cambridge Moonshine "800 Years Of Achievement" - 4.1%

Digfield "Fools Nook" - 3.8%

Frog Island "Natterjack" - 4.8%

Maypole "Wellow Gold" - 4.6%

Milton "Minotaur" - 3.5%

Oakham "Asylum" - 4.5% *

Oakham "Attila" - 7.5%

Potbelly "Yeller Belly" - 5.2% *

Timothy Taylor "Best Bitter" - 4.0%

Tring "Side Pocket For A Toad" - 3.6%

(The * is to highlight my favourites)

a toss up between Oakham Asylum and Potbelly Yeller Belly out of this lot (i was drinkin golden ales mainly last night), both were excellent beers in tip top condition, i'll consider myself lucky if theres any of either left in the barrel by this evening! (dark beers my thing this evening, a great selecetion of milds, porters and stouts on)
an excellently organised and laid on fest, well worth a quick sesh if anyone reading this is about! drink

List 2

Crouch Vale "Blackwater Mild" - 3.7%

Dark Star "Hophead" - 3.8% *

Elgoods "Old Wagg" - 4.0%

Elgoods "Wencelas Winter Warmer - 7.5%

Fox "Heacham Gold" - 3.9%

Fugelstou "Sledgehammer Stout" - 8.0%

Gt Oakley "Wot's Occuring" - 3.9%

Milton "Icarus" - 4.2% *

Potbelly "Yeller Belly" - 5.2%

Tipples "Hanged Monk" - 4.0%

last night was the busiest session yet, a good 300 at its peak i'd say!
was good to see so many folks enjoying the beers and the great atmosphere though!
must give a big wavey if any of the local TVRCC lot i saw there last night are reading, good to see you guys!
although it wasn't quite as good (fresh) as it was the night before, Potbelly Yellerbelly was still nice, but Darkstar Hophead was probably my fave last night, punches well above its weight with hops a plenty! drink

no, i don't do joint verdicts! but both are truly excellent beers and both were in peak condition on the night, but Yeller Belly got the nod from me in the end, it was consistently good! drink

ETA 3rd and final list,

Hart "Ice Maiden" - 4.0%

Milton - "Cyclops" - 5.3%

Milton "Dionysus" - 3.6%

Slaters "Top Totty" - 4.0%

Spectrum "Spring Promise" - 4.5%

Tring "Side Pocket For A Toad" - 3.6

quite a few beers had finished and "emergency" ales had been put on in place for the end of the show so a few feature on the above list
Milton Cyclops and Slaters Top Totty were both particularly nice today

a brilliant event superbly organised and run, i'll be back for more!...

will post the link if any pics/write ups become available
