Happy Bunny - new 350Z finally arrived!
Discussion
I bade a sad farewell to my 06 350Z roadster today .
However my shiney new 350Z 313GT Coupe arrived to take it's place
Don't be waving at any Blue Roadsters in the E.Herts area anymore lest they think you're a little doolally....instead wave at me in my Silver 58 plate...driving like a girl 'cos I'm frightened to get it dirty....

I do intend to buy a 370Z in 18 months - and I had originaly wanted to talk to the dealer about that car when I first went in - but my head was turned by run-out 350s and the deals on offer. My Roadster needed changing (it was 2.5 years old on a 3 year lease) so I had to have something now-ish. The deal they offered was rather good - I paid £20.5K for a brand-spanking 06 313 GT Coupe - with extras which had listed at £32.7K! I'm surprised at how different it feels to my 06 car...

When you say 3 year lease, did you PCP it? My PCP ends in Nov with a GFV of 9800, which should be about 1500 under market value. Still not sure what to do.Did they say when the 370z was due? Mine is an 06 but it's one of the 278 bhp versions.
Me dealer seems to think a delay to June/July is likely for the 370. he tells me all the 350Zs left in the system have now found homes - bar the odd one or two.
I had mine on a 3 year PCP, and chopped it 3 months early - I had about £1K 'negative equity' due to the recent step change in car RVs, but I managed to roll that into the deal I've done on a new one - my monthly payments are lower, and I didn't have to throw any equity into the deal -primarily due to the rather low price paid....

Pictures will follow when I can keep it clean long enough and it's not raining - so probably some time in June! The roads round where I live (rural) are covered in muck from tractors, etc and there are no kerbs on the vast majority of roads, so a 100 yard drive is enough to cover it in cack!
Chris, I expect most used cars - 350Z included, to continue falling in price so they should be available sooner than you might have thought!
Would encourage you to buy - great cars which perform way beyond their market value (new and used!)...

I'm not so sure they'll drop as much as other cars, the 350z has always done quite well with RV's thanks to the limited numbers sold and decent image, they did really well by not offering a smaller engined version to drive prices down.
Unless a lot of imports come into the country I think pricing will stabilise for the now.

Hmmn - not so sure Jon - the advent of the new higher VED rates, the arrival of the 370, and the release of the cheap 2009 350s (just paid £20.5K for my new 09 GT Coupe)will likley drive further downwards movement in RVs. Unfortunately! Sincerely hope I'm wrong and you're right though!
They have performed well in the market place comparatively speaking versus similar cars out there....and that probably won't change.

I think we've taken the hardest hit from the VED rates already, and the 2009 clearout was only a handful of motors from what I heard (still, I hate you, mine was £32k! :P)They have performed well in the market place comparatively speaking versus similar cars out there....and that probably won't change.
I'll probably end up trading up to a 370 in November if the performance is there.
Martin, that would be great mate - especially if you'ld clean it first! Seriously though, this weekend I'll get a chance to wash it and supposedly it's not going to rain round here for once, so piccies to follow.. on both forums.
I may however wait until Monday when it's going back to the dealer as the interior air fan is making a noise akin to those old wooden rattles that footy fans used to carry in the 50's...
