Im looking at getting a car and starting sprints and hillclimbs,Im looking at getting the car this year and participating next year,Im looking for a cheap car with cheap and easy spares but if a single seater came along then i wouldnt say no.

What do you think is a good first car?

What other events can i enter with my sprint car and a B class license?

and has anyone got a car up for sale?

Thanks

hehe

Start with a bog standard small engine roadgoing production car, pick one that's close to the class capacity limit. Spend money on safety clothing, harness and a good seat. Then get lots of practice.

I'm also starting to look into this kind of thing. But will probably use one of the cars I've alreay got.

I guess which is the right car depends on your take.

For me, I know I am unlikely to be good enough to win, and certainly don't have the funds to buy and run a winning car.

So I'd quite happily accept something less competative but more fun to drive.

fancy a track prepped 205? It's an MI16 with twin 45 Weber carbs. puts out about 200 BHP and only weighs 775KG. It would be in modified production class for sprinting.

Im in Herts by the way.
