Can anyone recommend a decent curry house in Harpenden? A friend is back from NZ in July and we plan to go for a beer and curry in Harpenden or close surrounding area as we have some other friends flying into Luton and it would be convenient for them.

There's an excellent curry house in Markyate high street - and another one in Redbourn. Redbourn is called Indian Nights and Markyate is The Pavilion

yes I'll second that. Proper curry, none of this 'meat' and loads of sauce rubbish.

Yes another recommendation here too. Not oily curry like some.

Place down in Southdown - Shapla I think. I prefer this over Jeera.

Or the Spice Hut in Marshalswick, St Albans.... on down the road about 5 miles. Now that's very nice and I need to go back to my home town again for a spice hut meal. yes
