I've also posted this in the GG, but I thought since I'm more likely to come across people from my neck of the woods here, I thought I'd also post it here...I'm wondering if there are any good recommendations for a driving school for me. I'm 17, live in Milton Keynes, and so far the cheapest I've found seems to be £18 with the first lesson being half price. My previous experience has been driving a MK2 Golf GTi 8v round a local private car park, and also driving a tuned classic mini around the outside of Silverstone. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!

www.a5drive.co.uk really know their stuff.
Not the cheapest/hour but definitely cost effective.

They think they are very funny, however they are unproductive. I've had no good response from them, and therefore will not be using them. I have the person I am going to use, so I don't need any suggestions, although suggestions as to how to take the lessons would be appreciated (:

Well then, can I recommend you sitting in the drivers seat driving the car whilst the better qualified (minimum 3.5 years driving experience) teaches you!

I had a few lessons with a5drive and was not impressed.
Not the cheapest or the most effective instructors in MK.
I would go with your friends and families recommendations not with the only local school that mass markets.
Good luck with Ur new instructor.
