For those on the "wrong" side of town...I'm not going mad am I? This used to be the Pot Shop a few years ago? I seemed to be the only one who thought this over a very pleasant nosh on Friday evening.

is that the Yumi Yumi chinese/fish 'n chip shop in Eynesbury?

haven't eaten anything from there for a while, but i do remember that the sweet and sour chicken wasn't that apertising TBH!

the only pot shop i knew of was the one that was redeveloped near the Rivermill...

Yep - Used to be the pot-shop. Changed to a chinese a few years ago now. Not eaten in the restaurant yet but have used the chippy & the chinese takeaway with no complaints!

Hurrah! I was right then. The Pot Shop was originally by the Rivermill after the garden centre and before the houses - it then moved at some point next to the Chippy(the pub was still open then). Actually, it makes you realise how much has changed around there, The Coneygere was still open then but it was a bit iffy - did the kiddie nursery used to be based in there first?

I went to the Yumi in a group of about 20, you pick a selection of starters in groups of around 4 and have as much as you want, then duck etc, and repeat the same routine for a load of mains, as much as you want and £15 per head. It was fine actually and amazing value if you like lots of different bits to try and can eat like a horse!!
