PH Meet Enfield 28/5/08 (Yes I know Which Forum This is :)

We of the North London PH 'massive' (?) cordially invite any and everyone of you people our dear, near country bumpkins cousins to our first meet.

We are meeting at the King and Tinker Pub, Whitewebbs Lane, Enfield. EN2 9HJ

Date: Wednesday 28th May. @ 7:30 p.m.

The pub is a good one with a large car park, good food and drink and a play area for the kiddies. The landlord is car friendly (so I've heard).

This gathering has taken exactly two years to arrange as the first post on the original thread was dated 2nd May 2006 and we thought that as we are meeting in Enfield which, frankly, isn't in London anyhoo, some of you guys who are within striking distance may be interested in attending.

with five of us committed to attend so far. So please add your names to the list. It would be great if we could get a regular thing going in our part of the world and a strong first meet would be an excellent start.

Hello jilapau,

Food is good and cheap, coupled with a massive anklebiter playground in full view of the car park / beer garden. When I originally approached the landlord in the dim and distant past he was very enthusiastic about a car get together.

M25 round to Enfield turn off onto the Great Cambridge. Pub is ten minutes from the motorway exit.

Had a late business meeting near the K+T so decided to pop in for a break and spoke to the landlord who told me that Wednesday evenings are normally very quiet and is looking forward to all of us turning up. There is one small fly in the motoring ointment though. No food after 15.00 hours on weekdays. Just the usual peanuts, crisps and other assorted savouries.

I took a few piccies of the place for you. Quality is not that good as I used the camera on my phone.

Bump.

There are now 21 people and their cars coming to the N.London meet this Wednesday 28th @ 7.30.

Please come and join us. The thread on the London forum can be found on the first post here. You can find a map giving directions there too. The pub , The King & Tinker, is just off of the Great Cambridge ( A10) and five minutes from the Enfield Junction of the M25.
