I know its not the usual PH subject, but our little cat got knocked over on friday night and is sadly no longer with us.
Anyone on here got or know of a male tabby kitten, looking for a good home?

Cheers guys.

There's a animal rescue centre on the A41 at Watford - got most of my cats from there. They come innoculated and neutered and this is a good time as I recall

We handed our kitten to them 2 years ago, and they were excellent!!.. and it was great to hear that she had gone to a new home

I know it well smile My mother used to do a lot of voluntary work there, and still helps out occasionally. Sometimes I'll tag along too and help out on their open days.
The staff can be a bit stern mind, and you'll be asked quite a lot of questions and be asked to fill in a form or 3 before they will let you take any animals. But they just want to ensure its going to a suitable home.
They will also try to steer you towards homing an older "Pre Owned" cat before they show you any kittens they may have. Usually kittens are not on display with the rest of the cats.
Don't be put off mind, if you get a cat/kitten from there, then you know it will have been looked after during its stay.

I think RSPCA centres are a bit more relaxed, and there is one of those in South Mimms/Ridge. But i've not had a cat from there for about 20 years. But have had maybe a dozen from the NAWT in Watford over the past 15 years or so.
