I own: 1 classic mini (see classifieds), one Freelander and a BMW Z4 coupe.

If anyone wants a really good quality Freelander (which is ALSO on classifieds) then I am very keen to sell it as I have my eye on a VERY tasty BMW Touring.

Anyone in the immediate area and where do you meet, so I can introduce myself 'in the flesh' as it were..

We drive from Sandy to Sandon via Steeple Mordon ever fortnight or so. The Waggon and Horses in S-M is very nice and you can see some amazing cars to-ing and fro-ing from various meets whilst sitting outside too.

Whereabouts in Yorkshire you from Christabel? I'm a northerner myself, now living near Leighton Buzzard. Originally from Castleford, West Yorks

Todmorden... It's so extremely West Yorkshire it has a Lancs post code, but it isn't abroad as such!

But spent years in Leeds and most of my teenage years in Harrogant..

Oh and looking at the passage of people through Steeple Morden, looks like there could be a rendez vous at the Waggon & Horses THERE, some stage!

Agreed on the cars to watch...

Sunday saw us out for a potter on the bikes (pushbikes, because we like to pretend we're getting fit! ) and we spent a while dribbling at the parade of classics, including a Dino and a DB6 - which were my favourites - but there were midgets, MGs, a couple of E-Types etc - anyone any idea where they were headed??

The October pub meet was penciled in for the Waggon & Horses in SM but the lack of parking moved it. We're at the pub in the late afternoon / early evening pretty much every fortnight on Saturday after shooting with some other PHers in Sandon (other side of Odsey), so a regular weekend mini meet is quite possible for us to get to!
We were looking on the internet at houses there yesterday as we like the pub and village so much

Didn't see any nice classics this Saturday, but there must be something nearby. I know Wimploe is a good drive from there, so could have been something on there? Duxford too? Too many possible places nearby(ish) to know for sure, just that there are always nice cars going through.

Being as how we're living in it until the place next door is done up! The places we own are in Yorkshire. I need to decide if I'm selling mine and if I'm buying here or in France. FAR too many decisions!

Ahhh, the mini... yes, but that's still in a Courtyard in Yorkshire. Can I tip up in the Z4? For now at least??

Looks like, for personal reasons, I am not flogging the Freeloader and the Mini for now. Which means I won't be acquiring a very gorgeous Alpina..

WHICH fortnightly would that be? Sandon is definitely a cough and a spit from here...

Looking to buy, but we have work to finish on our other places first and lots to do next year, so it'll be a couple of years before we can move
But we do need to get some more garage and workshop room fairly soon

Let's hope by that stage I've decided to buy in France and go on renting here then!
