Bit of a long shot here and nothing to do with cars!
Does anyone remember the old submerged crane at the Blue Lagoon in Arlesey? We used to swim out to it, climb up the jib, which was above the water and jump off!
It was rescued some years ago (at least 10 or 15) and I think it was put in a museum somewhere. I would like to find out where it is now. Any ideas as to how to find it?

looks like the crane was removed in 1977 and not 10-15 years as I thought
I must be getting really old!
I wonder if the Mueseum at Stondon may be able to help as they haev been around for a fair old while and probably know a lot of history in the area http://www.transportmuseum.co.uk/
