Parts blaster?

Hi all,

I need to get an exhaust manifold blasted to de-rust and decarbonise it. I'm near Huntingdon but don't mind going up to an hour away. Any recommendations?

A.B.S. Blasting Gravenhurst, has done 2 full cars and many many parts for me.
Car Guy aswell so will advise you exactly what can be done

Boris Blasting in wellingborough vapour blasted my guzzi engine last year. Top top bloke and really knows his onions.

Came back looking brand new and very reasonably priced.

That's impressive! Think I'll get the other manifold off then get them both done. How much was it to do the engine? Just as a guide

It was done about 18months ago and cost around £120. He stuck to the quote he gave me although he said that it was more work than he thought as some bits needed acid dipping and more time to remove the existing finish.

I'm heading there in the morning with one exhaust manifold (will get the other one off at some point), carb body and both rocker covers. Hope he can turn it around quickly, I'm actually motivated again!

Think turnaround on my engine bits was about a week give or take. It obviously varies massively depending on how busy he is.

He's right at the back of an obscure industrial estate in a smallish unit with a small sign on the door if I recall. Nothing much to let you know he's there, and doesn't really have much of an online presence either. All the best places I've found are like this!

Yes, carb looks amazing! Got some paint on the valve covers already, will take pics next weekend
