MOT Recommendations

Took my RX7 for an MOT this week and it failed on a couple of tiny things (already rectified) and emissions.

Emissions test performed was a full closed loop cat test. Problem with that is its a 1994 import with no visible engine number (and none listed on the V5) and thus VOSA say it is subject to a non-cat test.

To that end I'm looking for recommendations in the Tring area

Thanks guys, after posting that I booked it into a place in MK. Having had a chat with them they seemed reasonable guys who would do the correct test.

...and it seems I was wrong.

They wanted to do a BET test too, they spoke to VOSA who backed them up. I spoke to VOSA who backed them up.

Come home, printed out flowcharts, rang VOSA who now agree with me again. It quite clearly states that should the BET test fail then the non-CAT test should be conducted instead.

Going to have to book another now!

Passed MOT

As per VOSA flowchart > BET > Fail > Not in book > Non-cat. Sorted.

Another vote for Inwards in Leighton Buzzard.... Very good service And don't rip you off
