Been considering this car, was wondering from the Clophill crew with Lambos and anyone else with an interest what your thoughts on it what should its price be .
Its done 14k miles.

What should I be looking for?

Thanks

Looks very nice Steve. Can't help you out with cost obviously but if the others say it's good - go for it. We can never have too many Lambos at Clophill; at least, you can't have too many that aren't luminous green tongue out

Not sure my eyes could take two that bright! wink

Hi Steve, you should start a lambo buying thread in the lambo section, get more responses there.... Wandered over here by chance...

Come over to the dark side, you won't regret it.

Its the dove house car right.... Homework... Check autotrder too, not all cars are advertised across both platforms. I would phone jperformance to see what he really has, else you'll be comparing against fictional cars....

It should be priced amongst the 2008 cars .... Its model year that counts, not reg year.... There was no my09 gallardo as the lp560 came end 2008.... Ensure its had its 4th year service this year else that's 2.5k straight out of your pocket... that colour combo can be hard to move on, clarkson got his in that combo and when I was looking it took ages to sell.... The hendon car is a good yardstick.... Hth..

If you want me to advise further, happy too....

Thanks Mohan, that's a great start already, most things I didn't know!
I would never buy the first car on the first view, it took me 2 years to find my Porsche, I just loved the colours of this one when DH sent me the details over.
I have been looking at jperformance and they seem to have a really nice line up, I will pay them a visit over the xmas break.
I have a part ex price from DH, not entirely happy with it so will keep looking before I take the plunge!

orange interiors can look great, but i imagine not to everyone's taste

also, the spec' doesn't mention lifting gear, so it won't go down my speed-ramped road for example ( check under the nose : if there is no damage, then it's had paint )

the market for these cars is tiny and fickle, and so avoid anything that further reduces the potential list of future buyers

tbh, can't tell a great deal more from just pics !

with any luck, the wheels will be the factory callistos they appear to be, and the orange rims readily reversible

you can do an initial inspection yourself : you're looking for any bodywork damage ( as parts from sant'agata are ruinously expensive : for a rough idea, check http://www.eurospares.co.uk/ ) and rust just about anywhere

if you can see it on a ramp, then even better

any worn consumables ? cost them up fully

having done all that, then get a pro inspection, including a two minute check on the e-gear which will tell you the wear

and make sure that you can live with it : gallardos may be sensible by lambo standards, but they defo don't like traffic crawling, tight spaces, tight corners, uneven ground, reversing, three-point turns, hillstarts, hill parking, hills generally really biggrin

good spot !

it's your fault if the vendor spots your post and puts the price up 2k though

hopefully we can redress that as the handbrake's not straight biggrin

Thanks for all the advice, spoken to DH on this one and was quite disappointed that they would only offer 3 months warranty!!! In my books if your spending £85k on a car you need a little bit more than that. I have now decided to do a lot more research into these cars, it's got to be Italian next though, had German for a while now.
