Hi Guys,

I need some interior trim pieces sprayed piano black.

My go to guys are finishline, but they're very expensive for such a simple job (nearly £200, that's with me delivering the trim pieces detached from the vehicle too)

As it's only 6 small pieces of trim I'm after advice of who might do the job around Hitchin for more reasonable money.

How big are we talking? If not massive I'd highly encourage having a go yourself.

I've painted a few small bits on my mx5, and as long as you read a few guides, spend a good amount of time on prep they can come out pretty well.

You can get all the bits for maybe 20 quid from halfords, and it's pretty satisfying.

If you don't fancy doing the full job, prepping the parts with filler primer and smoothing back will save you a few quid before handing over to a painter.

5 years ago I've have done just this!

2 problems:

1) These days time is more important to me than a small amount of cash
2) Piano black is meant to be a pain to do properly, and home jobs don't have the same finish.

Thanks, I'll give them a shout this week if my option A doesn't happen.
