Hi all,

Are any of the Clophill crew or any other regional people going down to The Supercar Event at Dunsfold (near Guildford) on 15 & 16 June 2013? It's a great event for supercar lovers (even if you have your own supercar already wink) and what's more, it's for charity - The Children's Trust.

Basically, you pay a small fee (£25 or £50) for a few laps of part of the Top Gear test track in a supercar. The £25 option gets you into whichever car arrives next while the £50 option lets you choose the car you want a ride in. So, you can donate as much or as little money as you want on the day.

I thoroughly enjoyed it last year (though I only went down on the Saturday so missed the F40s frown) and managed to get rides in a F50, Carrera GT, Murcielago, LFA and Enzo!

I'll be going down both days and was just wondering if anyone wanted to join me for a run down in the morning? The link below are for the Piston Heads tickets and also some images from last year.

Yep, i'll be going both days smile I think the very first one is the only one i've missed........ expect i'll do what i did last year and find a B&B rather than drive back to Essex at the end of the day only to get back up early and all the way back again laugh

Have asked every year if can give rides on track but always fell on deaf ears so i'll be there with the Sporting Bears Motor Club giving charity passenger rides out on the perimeter road and a bit of public road outside smile

I will be there too on Saturday as part of Sporting Bears giving rides ..

What a shame they will not let us use the track too frown

If 2 days at one event is too much for you, there is an event at Woburn on the Sunday which Sporting Bears are supporting as well with passenger rides - I just hope my Italian steed does not complain about being asked to perform 2 days in a row scratchchin

Am hoping to be there, think the Mustang club has an "area" actually... not sure. Might even have a few out on track.
