Huge hole in Ayot St. Peter
Discussion
Watch for an enormous pothole on the Ayot St. Peter road, completely covered in water.

This is what happened to me earlier...

Yes, I'm seriously angry that I almost tore my bumper off, could have damaged my wheel, suspension etc. (yes, its balancing in the bumper) but I did have to laugh... Very thankful I only crept in to allow a car past, if I drove through it at 30mph I'd have done some very serious damage.
I'd rather I found out rather than someone hit it in their Elise or whatever!

blimey that's ridiculous! Cheers for the heads up, glad only found it in the way you did rather than at speed :O
Absolutely, hitting that at speed would have been a complete disaster.dazerc said:
That looks like you have gone into the ditch off the road.
Nope, just pulled up to the side of the road to allow a Ford Ranger to pass in the opposite direction.Si_man306 said:
Crazy! Had similar covered by water ground the 350z some weeks ago...road is pretty much impassible for all by 4x4's now, just won't be fixed up
Out of interest, how are you finding that fiesta to drive/ own?
Yes, I've most certainly learned my lesson! Just pleased I didn't hit it at normal speeds.

Really pleased with it, not the fastest thing in the world, but excellent fun to chuck down a B-Road and perfectly comfortable on the longer trips that I undertake. I took it on track in December and it was absolutely great fun, although the brakes are inadequate for fast road/track use, to be expected I suppose. Everyone raves about the Swift Sport, and while I would say it's a marginally better car to drive at full chat, I think the Fiesta is a far nicer car to live with everyday. A far more pleasant place to sit, too. The factor for most was the cost difference when new, but thankfully that was all but eradicated when I purchased.
Things seem to be wearing in well though (I hit a badger at 50mph last week on the nearside side skirt, fell down this pothole this week, and absolutely no marks on the car
