I am taking my brother in law to a gig at the Alban Arena on Wednesday next. We will require a fine curry and a couple of pints beforehand so I put it to you for recommendations please St Albans residents.

Veer Dhara on the high street.
or Devdas which is down the road a bit by avenue road.
Failing that, the Mumtaj on London Road.
Or the Kohinoor on George Street (my fave)

I hope this helps. biggrin What gig you going to?

I'm taking him to the Yukelele Orchestra of Great Britain. They are hilarious, playing covers of all sorts like Nirvana on Yukes. He's currently taking lessons so it's topical.

In town - Veer Dhara.

Slightly out of town but convenient for the station - Chilli Raj.
