Depends where in Peterborough really
If you're going into the centre of town the brewery tap does good thai food.

If you're a bit further out of town the Ramblewood inn is good too

There are loads around, especially if you want to go a little further a field, if you're traveling from the south on the A1 the Admiral Wells in Holme is ace http://www.thegoodpubguide.co.uk/pub/view/Admiral-...
if you give us an idea of where you're likely to be going and traveling from then I'll see if there are some other suggestions.

Glad you enjoyed it
Im very fussy with food when it comes to paying for someone else to cook it!! but they have never let me down, and I find it very reasonably priced for the quality of food they serve
I agree the food was reasonably priced, the waiter even pointed out to us the lunchtime offer they had on!

Best part was the drive to the pub after spotting a chap riding his Goldwing motorbike with his wife on the back and their St Bernard dog sat in the sidecar equipped with crash hat and sun glasses!
