Herts/North London garage recommendations

Hi,

I'm looking for a garage to take a look at a suspension issue on my 924. I'm aware of places like JAZ, JZM and Portiacraft that specialise in Porsches, but I guess McPherson strut suspension is actually pretty universal (unlike Porsche-specific stuff like Variocam and so on...)

Can anyone recommend an honest, capable garage on the northern tip of London or southern Hertfordshire? I live in Enfield and work in North Finchley, so preferably looking for somewhere close to one of those two.

There is a Porsche place in Hatfield I went to a few times that seemed to be pretty good. Bit pricey though.

Speak to glassman - he has a mate (Aggy) who runs a garage at the bottom of colney hatch lane who'd look after you

You know what, I've got another friend who knows a bloke called Aggy who runs a garage, wonder if it's the same guy. Either way, I'll drop Paul a line.

Thought it better to resurrect this old thread than start a new one.

Any other recommendations for a garage in this area, need some work doing on a Lupo GTi I'm looking at as a winter hack.

Japex in kings Langley. They are jap specialists but they work on Anything and are very good and reasonable pricing wise.

I use a chap in Stanmore/Edgware. Very informal, but very good. PM me if you want his details.

Albie Autos (Welwyn Garden City)01707 329001 (ask for Tony) and also use 'Car Solutions' sometimes for electrical issues, 50m down the rd from Albie Autos.
