I sat opposite a guy on a train wearing one of these.....

a very lovely watch! Anything to look for on these? can you get them Tax free anywhere?

Any opinions on them in general?

Yeah, not really interested in any Rolex's.

where's the best place to look for a used version? apart from the obvious as those on chrono etc have been listed for an age.

I wouldn't discount Chrono24 if you want to make a saving.
They second hand and grey market for these is very different to rolex/patek et al so they often sit around for a while despite pretty hefty discounts.

I have an Igenieur which to my eyes is a much nicer looking and better finished watch than most sports Rolex but it's significantly less popular and much cheaper as a result.
the price they're at, with vat added once in the UK, they're more than buying new here. there's some which are listed at the cost of a new one.
