I have a Tachymiler, an Air Race and a Jazzmaster, great watches, and just that little bit different

Got a steel JazzMaster Slim myself, very smart and understated IMO if a little large in diameter for a dress watch. Very happy with the quality, it has a lovely glass caseback where you can see the slim movement and the brushed lugs are very subtle against the polished case.

Good watches, Hamiltons smile

I have one of those. I'd planned on just keeping it as a stop-gap treat, but it's really grown on me. smile

Poor attempt at a Lume Shot:

I saw that on TZ as well, it looks fantastic and seems very good VFM!

Like I mentioned on that thread, what the hell is the cut out on the left hand side of the dial for?

The T2> is the GMT function. The cut out in the bezel is a rotating list of capital cities.

It's the GMT function - The cut-out closest to the centre displays the hours of a different timezone, whereas the outer cut-out displays the city relating to the TZ smile

ETA: Glaz got there first! hehe Strange, as his post didn't appear for me until I posted confused

I thought that's what it was.
The bit that confused me was that on Hamiltons website, it has "5th Avenue NY" in it.
I guess that's just a bit of American 'heritage'. wink

I think I'll be keeping an eye out for one of those Navy GMTs, they look fantastic. smile
