Thinking of adding another watch to the "collection". However, this one should be very different.

The kind of watch I am looking for should be the meanest, badest, mo'fo of them all.

It should be able to laugh in the face of the searing heat of the Persian Desert.

Smirk at the Altitude Sickness suffered by others on its way up from the Everest Base camp.

Make Lara Croft cry out for more when getting right down and dirty in the jungles of Cambodia.

Turn the techni-coloured marine creatures of Thailand green with envy.

Be stoic when subjected to unblocking a chemical toilet.

And be able to tell Crocodile Dundee that what he has not a watch but that THIS is a watch!

So! ... Which watch should it be?

[I know, its a crap day/week/month/year in IB and I fancied a diversion]

Any watch from the above webisite, they are well priced too.

This has got to be the hardest bar-steward of all wacthes, no other watch is actually waterproof like it

There really can be only one answer to this. Tough Solar G Shock Frogman. This is my favourite version, 25th anniversary Dawn Black model.

Good spot Stu even though the 7750 watch has a big thick can of a case it's a hard bd watch. I've had my finger hovering above the buy button on chronomaster loads since it came out. The only thing that puts me off is not being able to see one in the flesh anywhere and the sneaking doubt that I might like a 756s instead.

Have you seen the pimped up black ones?

It must better than any watch with "special ops" written on the front, I'll tell you all that for nothing. hehe

Seiko Orange Monster - will do all you describe, and you lose £120 max if it is nicked.

Isn't this a job for an MTM.

Worn by members of the U.S. Secret Service, U.S. Navy Seals, U.S. Air Force Pilots, U.S. Delta Force, U.S. Army Rangers, U.S. Special Forces, Swat Teams, FBI Agents, DEA Agents, Police Officers, SAS, Tactical Units, Special Forces Units worldwide and Jack Bauer.

The only hard fker who doesn't wear one is me.

http://www.specialopswatches.co.uk/

Next time I'm out I'll batter a group of Navy Seals and help myself to a MTM Xtreme Ops Navy Seal Watch.

They start at around £330 if you are to much of a girl to take one from a member of the special forces

Personally I have the gravest suspicions about any watch that:

a) claims to be worn by special forces; and

b) feels the need to write "Special Ops" or similar on the dial

I rather feel that if you were in the SAS/Navy Seals/whatever you'd probably rather your watch didn't advertise the fact ...

I think this is a job for the Sinn EZM2 (quartz) or EZM3 (mechanical): http://www.chronomaster.co.uk/sinn_current_stock_2...

If you can find one.
