rolex air king advice please
Discussion
a friend has offered me a stainless steel air king (early 90's i think) with no box or papers for £700. he has owned it for a few years and had it verified by rolex so i'm sure it is genuine. seems like a fair enough price. is anyone familiar with them? would it be easy to sell on with no papers if i decide to sell it in the future?
If you and your friend have checked with Rolex UK that the watch is not on the lost/stolen register, then £700 seems a fair price. With the original box and warranty papers it'd be worth a little more, so at £700 it seems a fair deal between mates....
With regard to future sales, the absence of papers does not make it a bad watch. As long as you are able to prove the watch is straight, you'll have no trouble selling it. Some buyers will only buy with box and docs and are happy to pay more, others are happy to buy a good watch to wear.
