I am heading off to Florida soon and am hoping to buy an Omega Seamaster whilst there, does anyone know of any good dealers out in Florida and should I try haggling on the price

you get get it ex vat which works out at about a 15% discount just at the t5 and strangely that's true if you fly to manchester, with the change in exchange rate, i'm not sure how much you'll save and don;t forget state tax

You are probably best getting it from duty free at the airport in the U.K, depending on where you are flying from.

Thanks, I am flying from Heathrow with Virgin if that makes any differance, I will have a look in Duty Free when I get there

Maybe try Tourneau, they are a large US high end retailer and I suspect they are in Florida, provided you are near a major city, Naples etc. They will negotiate prices (good time to do it) and will do part exchanges too.

Depending on where you are in Florida, Tourneau has about 9 outlets. Including one at the Prime Outlet Center, just off of I-Drive in Orlando.

Gave me a 10% discount on a ladies Rolex. Not sure its worth it now that the exchange rate has dropped though.

millenia mall near orlando, up sandlake rd is a high end mall cartier tiffany etc should find an outlet there

Thanks for everyones advice, I think I have found a dealer who will ship it to me in Orlando from out of state, thus saving state tax as well
