Precious metal Rolex take a bath at sale time. The strap Daytona looks OK on a girl, but that's it.

I dont mind them on a leather strap, I find them more comfortable than a bracelet....just make sure you pay much less for one on a leather strap.

A gold/Steel bracelet looks a lot better than solid gold, and should be easy to find.

I've got a gold/SS one, I saw it and chose it because I liked it a lot better than the SS one - its not too 'used car dealer'.

You can get a discount but I chose interest free credit over 3 years.

thanks for the replies - the concensus seems to be ss/gold is better than gold and that the leather straps are quite poor value/look a little girly.

Any recommendations as to where to buy from?

Thanks again
Dont know where you are, but I got mine from David M Robinson. (Manchester / Chester / & London I think)

Although, if you have the cash you may get a discount elsewhere, but they do interest free credit over 3 years with a 20% deposit.

Just realised, I just said that in my prev post !
