Hi guys,
Can anyone help me what household (..or car) cleaning/polishing products could safely remove a surface scratch from my Rado face? I've had one on a previous Rado and this doesnt seem its in the glass. more like on it.
Cheers
Woody smile

Depends on what the glass is. If it is acrylic like on a vintage watch then they can be polished surprisingly well with toothpaste and a cotton wool bud. Mineral glass and to some extent hardened mineral glass can in theory be polished with glass cutting compounds and power tools but the guys I have asked about doing this have told me it is so much effort it is cheaper to replace the glass. Sapphire watch glasses can also in theory be polished with diamond cutting compounds and the required machinery but again I haven't heard of anyone doing this to effect a repair, again cheaper to replace.
