Hi all,

I have manageed to crack the glass on my Poljot ocean reissue on just the second time of wearing it!

Does anyone know of a UK AD or anyone that may be able to replace the glass.

thanks in advance

Well, googling came up with these:-

Perhaps not full AD's, but they might be able to help

This is really tough.
No one seems to be able to get hold of a replacement crystal

Surely they must be standard sizes and i can fit one from another watch/manufacturer?
I'm at a loss on this one so any thoughts appreciated

I've bought all my Poljot watches from ebay and one seller I have found to be a wealth of info and help is "sonnenflasche". He is baed in Germany and sell's all sort of Poljot/russian watches straps etc. (His name is Juri Levenburg)

Long shot but he seems to be able to get any model Poljot/Russian you want, so he might have lead on replacement crystals too. He even has an Ocean listed right now.

Here's a link to his shop on ebay... http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Juri-Levenberg

ps. I've got the Ocean too, very nice watch, good luck getting yours fixed

I have pinged him a mail to ask - just wait and see now.
I've found a company that has said they can replace the crystal (maybe even for sapphire) but other companies have told me that without an original, the fit or finish wont be great.

What should i do?

I suppose if i dont find an original i have no choice really but as its almost 50% of what i paid for the watch, i want to mak sure its worthwhile if i go for it.
