Hello all,

It's now got to the point where I'm seriously considing a Panerai smile

After looking around the web today the choice of variants has made my head hurt rolleyes

My current favourites appear to be PAM 88,89 & 90...although there are one or two others that also float my boat. Given I no longer wear it (much) I may consider trading my Zenith El primero rainbow flyback so soften the £££ involved.

So the question to the masses is where would/could I trade the Zenith, and what sort of terms could I expect in terms of an agreed valuation and a 'deal' on the asking price of the Panerai?

I've never done this sort of thing before, so some advice would be appreciated

I know what you mean about the selection of Panerai's available. I picked up the current range brochure at Selfridges on Oxford Street the other week and I find it is easier to compare them side by side.

As for trading in the Zenith - IMHO, don't. Save the money for the Panerai and enjoy both. Plus, when you have saved long and hard, buying the Panerai will be a very satisfying afternoon in the AD.

I wouldn't bother trading in the Zenith, you'll get mugged on the price.

I was offered £750 for my Rainbow Flyback (strap) last year when I was thinking of swapping for a SeaDweller.

It's easy to say, I know, but I would suggest that it's much better to just save up a bit longer than to sell/trade a watch to buy a new one.

Cheers, Animal.
