Sad day, lost my sea-dweller
Discussion
The doc changed all my Meds last week and one of the side effects is swelling joints. Down side being that it made the band tight and cut my wrist so I got into the habbit of taking it off or uncatching the clasp for a few mins. Got home today and just noticed no watch, so if you were in Nottingham today and you pick it up .............
Was going to have it put on a mititary plastic strap for a while or untill things settled down, realy realy wish I had done. Realy realy mad with myself.

Sorry for you, but is selling drugs the answer?Sorry, but whilst the loss of a SD is a bad call, that's probably the funniest sentence I've read on this forum all year...

And the only SD's I know of were on Doctor Who a long time ago...

It has in fact cheered me up a little,I have done a quick edit but may have to edit it back....Bugger
Small consolation, but the SD is the only Rolex that the replica guys make a stupendously accurate copy of. If I'd just lost mine I'd drop £150 on the 'perfect' replica whilst saving up to replace the real thing. I know it'll cause argument on these forums but it's perhaps the only 'replica' that actually walks the walk...Whereabouts in Nottingham were you yesterday??
Have you reported it to the BiB?? If you ring the control room on 01159670999 and explain that you have lost it in the city somewhere, they will create a lost property incident and if someone has handed it into one of the stations then the front counter staff will be able to reunite it with you.
I know a lot of people say why bother, but if you don't then there is no hope of tracing the owner if it is handed in. Plus, if it has been handed in and not claimed within 6 weeks I think it is, then it is likely to go to auction.
You have nothing to lose and everything to gain for the cost of a phone call.

If you claim from your insurance company they will insist on an Incident number too. Good luckHave you reported it to the BiB?? Also - make sure you notify your AD of the serial number as well. If it turns up to be serviced at any AD in the world, they will reclaim it for you.
If you call Rolex UK direct on 01322 521436, with the relevant details and a crime number. They will add the watch to the lost/stolen register, and as Asterix notes if the watch is ever returned for service it will be returned to you....marc.l said:
Good news, was found in the Bank, as it was not my local branch they had no number to contact me on. Now going to blat over and collect it.
thanks guys for support
I'm sure the feeling of relief once you got word was about as good as the sinking feeling you got when you thought it was gone was bad!thanks guys for support
