Hi,i was left two watches years ago, which have sat in a drawer since. One's a Favre Leuba with a gold bracelet and the other's a Omega De Ville with a leather strap.

Where would be the best place to get these valued? It's a subject i know nothing about and any advice would be welcome. If anybodys interested i'll try and post some pictures later on tonight.

Thanks

This is the Omega. I have an insurance valuation from 1996 that describes it as : Gents Omega Deluxe, qtz s/watch, gold plated case £650

Favre Leuba 9ct hallmarked round mechanical analogue on gold hallmarked gate style bracelot £1375

This watch i'm keeping for myself, unless anyone wants a straight swap for a 308/328 wink It's a Jaeger le Coultre complete with mehcanical alarm.

If anyone could advise me where to sell the first two watches, that would be appreciated.

Thanks again.

Hi there.

Unless you have a great need for the money, I wouldn't sell them.

You really wouldn't get more than £100 or so each. The insurance valuations are to replace with new, and have no relation to what the watch is actually worth on the market.

Thanks for replying. If that's all their worth, i'll leave them in the drawer. Cracking Thema by the way (i've got a 164).

Thanks again
