Cartier Santos battery price?

Anyone know roughly how much Cartier will charge to change my battery in a santos?
Does it even need to go back to Cartier?

Between £40 and £60 is what I paid. They will send it back to Cartier who fit, re-seal and test. Seems alot but like keeping a decent car it pays to show that it has been maintained properly. When I sold mine after 6 years I got a good price. The Cartier service receipts helped.

LOL , Dont waste your money!!! Its a cheap battery and all they do is re-fit the case back seal and carry out a case seal check.

If its a late ish watch and your after the prestige of a full service history then its up to you..

But I know where I would go.

It looks like the back is screwed on. Can most watch shops get it off?
I don't need the waterproof part, as it never goes under water

Any competent watchmaker would be able to do it while you wait. £60 to send it back to Cartier is money for old rope.....
