I am looking to buy a Rolex datejust model M061835 for my other half. The retail price is £2060 and the authorized dealer has offered me a 5% discount. Does anyone know of a dealer offering more than this..or is this about right for a Rolex?

Iam looking to buy within the next few weeks.

Cheers

Boxter, the M****** number you quote is the serial number to the watch you saw. It should also have either a 6 figure model number starting with 1***** or a five figure number starting with a 7****.Also, the ladies datejust starts at £2600, and the mens at £2800....

Was it a ladies Datejust model 179160, retailing at £2600?

Dominic, my fault, I got the model wrong, I've realised it's not the datejust but the oyster perpetual as shown in this link :

http://www.blowers-jewellers.co.uk/images2/watch_i...

but with the black dial and white batons.

RRP £2060. Unfortunately when I asked for the model number the number quoted was what the sales rep wrote down.

Got it, 176200. What would your favoured dial colour be, the pink 1/4 Arabic as shown?

If you are planning to fly out of the EEC in the near future you can try buying at the airport (heathrow) save on the VAT.
