This is what I have been using for the last 4 years or so:

I'm still happy with it, but would like something a little smarter and less chunky.

I am quite fussy when it comes to watches but I know nothing at all about them. I'm not at all bothered about brand/originality and as long as it's reasonably accurate I'd be happy - doesn't need to be perfect.

I had a look through the Wrist Check thread and picked out three that I particularily like the look of. If they cost 5% of what they do, I'd be set biggrin.

I don't want anything too simple, I like the watch to have at least one "gimmick", but then definitely nothing over the top.

Budget - Under £100. I have a postal address in both America and UK, and will be in Mexico in a few weeks so if it's cheaper abroad I can get one there.

I'll know what I like when I see it, so any ideas appreciated smile

Would agree with Werners flying watches. But also check out www.rltwatches.co.uk some unusual stuff on there for around your budget.

And, last but not least, e-Bay has some good bargains from time to time, have a look at Citizen and Seiko on there, some good stuff for the £100 mark

What about Christopher Ward watches? Some of them would happily blow your budget but there are a few that would only stretch it a bit. The watches seem to review well and I believe the quality is good smile

Some very nice options on Werners Flying Watches. Love this one but it's over budget unfortunately.

I had a look around after seeing the other Wave-Ceptor thread, and this looks nice:

Around $180 in America or £160 here. bandit

+1

Although mine is in their upper price bracket (X-01) the quality is the same through out the range. Very good.

A little ebay search for Poljot might turn up some interest, I have 2. How good are they? Well I have a third on the way to me now.

It may sound a little daft, but have a trawl through arogo's website/catalogue. They are quite cheap for 'normal' watches and have quite a range.
