Am I going to regret this?
Discussion
Been looking for a new watch recently, my criteria have been:
Swiss movement
Automatic
Chronograph.
Had been looking at TAG's, Tissots etc, then stumbled across this on the bay.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&am...
IMHO it's not a bad looking watch, not what I was looking for in terms of design (was looking for a sports chrono) Am I going to regret this?

Going by the subdials, which are weekday, day of month and 24-hour, that looks very suspiciously like the Chinese movement used in the really cheap 'chronograph' fakes - the buttons move the day and date onwards. If it's the same movement, it's appallingly built. No watch categorised as a 'replica' touches this movement - only the really cheap fakes.
Something with a Chinese-made ETA movement would be miles better... if you're going to have subdials indicating a 'chronograph' style, having those subdials show the date is pretty shoddy. After all, pressing the buttons by accident will change the date. Idiotic design IMO.
