I've got my on a TW11 or TW78, not decided on 45 or 50mm yet, I need to find a stockist to try them on, and wondered if there were any owners or past owners on here.

What are they like, good quality, reliable, etc?

TIA

Martin

They are ... big.

Honestly they are not at all to my taste and just look ridiculous to me, but I have no direct experience.

Oh, thanks. Mailed him.

Are the faces really that big, I've already got two watches at 40mm, surely the extra 5mm to 45mm can't make that much difference. I did suspect the 50mm might be a bit silly hence looking at both sizes.

Martin I looked at some in Leeds this week. They might have only been the bigger size not sure but the ones I saw were daft. The smaller ones may be better

I have TW78 45mm case, and even I think the 50mm looks excessive. Providing you haven't got tiny wrists, it will look fine. Great watches imo, chunky and a bit different; had lots of positive comments, and for sub £300 don't think you can go wrong. thumbup

Ah, interesting. TW78 is exactly the model I'm looking at buying.

How's the build quality?

I think it's one of the better looking of the range; love the black on red and the TW dots on the strap. Seems well put together, not had any problems with mine. If you take the plunge, their online website is quite a bit cheaper than I've seen in dealers.

Is that TW Steels own website?

All the sites I have seen selling the TW78 have it for £285. I couldn't see an option for buying direct from TW Steel's webbie...

Oops, my bad. Having checked, this is where I got mine: http://xlwatches.com/product_info.php?products_id=... they're authorised dealers and the 78 works out about £220 inc postage. smile
