Went to Florence for our 18th Anniversary this week. Whilst there i bought my beloved a ring from Bulgari. When i was having a look round the salesman noticed my Omega and said did i want to have a look at their watches. He let me try on a limited edition - only 15 to be made - watch that was for sale for 122,000 euros about £105k. Apparently its got three mechanisms in it. Very nice but i'll stick with my planet ocean !

Went into Marcus and a very nice salesman saw me drooling over a platinum AP Royal Oak Grande Complication and let me have a closer look - £440,000!

I mean, it was very nice and all but 440 grand?!

If money were no object I think it would be this:

The Greubel Forsey Double Secret, only 11 made, c. $360k

I had the unfortunate pleasure of trying on a number of Jacob & Co watches as my agency did the PR for the launch in the Middle East.

Probably very expensive (couldn't be arsed to find out) but utterly disgusting.

An Gold Audemars Piguet, it was very nice but I thought it would be rude to ask the owner how much it was worth, so I did not.

It was in Berrys few weeks ago, haven't been into the city for a while, so not sure if they still have it

how cool is that - go to the trouble of putting 2 tourbillons and don't have any of them showing

p.s. my own watch £8.6k

I can't quite compete with the £100k+ watches. The most expensive watch I have tried on was £20k, but I do get to try I on whenever I want. IWC Portuguese perpetual calendar in white gold. Would post a picture but I haven't figured out how.

Same watch for me mate, good to see you around on here. (He did say it is probably the most expensive watch I have ever had on my wrist) This was lets recall on the same night as a Daytona, 69 speedmaster and vintage sub so yes very very expensive.
