I've decided I want a gold watch for my birthday in a couple of months, though am struggling to decide which of these to go with.... Any thoughts? I'm not too concerned by cost, just want to make the right choice. I already have an Omega Seamaster and a Zenith Port Royal Reserve De Marche, so hope one of these will complement them nicely.

To be honest none really talk to me, but of those the Parmigiani is far and away the class act.

Edited to correct a typo in Parmigiani's name ... d'oh

OK fair enough, what would you go for? I'm leaning toward the Parmigiani as it's a bit differen.

Well the silver dial version of the Parmigiani is rather nice, I definitely prefer it to the black dial, however, I would probably go for a JLC, either a Reverso Grande GMT or a Master 8 Days.

Pick the one you like the most!

You'll be the one wearing it after all.

I'm with you on those or my personal fave Glashutte Panamatic,

just don't do the Panerai. redcard

Well, if you're seeking opinions, the Panerai is the clear winner based on simple class and style.
Personally i don't do gold (too soft) the other options are a bit blingy (imo) to look at smile

of the three I'd have to go with the Parmagiani as well. By far the nicest and rarer than the other two by far. I have a Panerai Luminor but with a similar dial (sandwich dial/titanium) and whilst I do like it I am not sure the gold version would leave me feeling I'd got "value". At that price point I'd be looking at JLC's probably. But I do like the Parmagiani.

Big Bang all the way for me. It will probably be my next watch too.

It's very different to the Panerai - much more useable. Think Panerai's (having got one) can look a bit bland, particularly the Radiomer.

If I was looking at that price point I'd also look at JLC as well as Glashütte Original.

The Pan doesn't suit gold and I also find them a bit bland (also too big for me but that's another discussion)

The others? Ok I suppose but not really my thing.
