Hi there

I have a Breitling Chrono Cockpit with a leather strap that has just cost me £280 to service. I've had the watch for 8 years now and fancy a Franck Muller in it's place.

Any ideas on the value of a mint Chrono Cockpit would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Might want to put up a picture of yours and give a little more detail. Are there any variations of your model (face colour, strap colour etc)? Does it have the original purchase receipt, warranty card etc from an official dealer? Receipt for the service? Was there a presentation box with it? It's obviously out of the original warranty by now but those kind of docs add to the sale value and mean people can be sure it's an official watch etc etc smile

This is my authentic Breitling Chrono Cockpit watch that I have owned for 8 years. I have literally just spent £280 at official UK Breitling Specialists, Goldsmiths, to have the watch serviced and restored to 'as new' condition. This service has a 12 month warranty from June 2008

The watch is in excellent condition and features 18k Gold numerals and bezel markings. Unmarked Sapphire Crystal.

Papers and 12 month Goldsmith guarantee included

The above is the wording on a recent ebay listing for the watch. The best offer I got was £900 for the watch. I don't use it and really fancy a Franck Muller so still wondering what it's realistically worth.

Cheers

I'd suggest that 900 quid is a realistic price.

Anything is only worth what someone will pay for it.

I'nm sure you have checked, but what are others of the sme type going on eBay and Timezone etc...

I can't be asred to look.
