Which watch for £500 (ish)...?
Discussion
Been left some money from the recent death of my dear old gran and want to buy something quite long lasting, such as a decent watch.
I know nothing about watches and could do with some 'impartial' advice really.
Obviously these things are very subjective in terms of looks and style but any suggestions would be most welcome.
I have been looking at some of the Seiko Sportura variations - such as the Honda F1;
or this (diverse selection I know);
Cheers in advance anyway.

Bit of a strange question.
Seems like the cost of the watch is more important to you than brand/style/features etc etc...
Not really - my limit is £500 (so that bit is important), but I can see how much of a 'how long is a piece of string' question this is.Seems like the cost of the watch is more important to you than brand/style/features etc etc...
But in asking I now have had 2 suggestions of brands I wouldn't have looked at.
So its worth throwing it out there perhaps!

You might want to check out Sinn, they are out of your budget new, but second hand you could get something very special.
Alternatively you could get something inexpensive that will last forever, for example my latest purchase
Suunto core £200
or Seiko Orange Monster on a watchworx strap £150 ish

Don't know what that is exactly, but it looks fantastic.
My lad would love that for his BEN 10 episodes.
