I've recently bought a tauschmeister divers watch (about 4 weeks ago). In the last week or so, I've noticed moisture on the inside of the glass. It comes and goes, depending on the temperature.

Anybody care to tell me why this is, and what I can do to stop it - I presume it is not normal in a divers watch rated at600m!!!!

Can't tell you why its there unless either the seals have failed or you have left the crown pulled out and let it get wet/damp?

One possible solution is to put it in an airtight tupperware (or similar) tub with the crown pulled out together with some rice, or one of those silica gel packets. Leave it there for a few days and it may draw the moisture out.

Failing that you'll need to get someone to look at it.

Cheers for the tip!!

Took the watch off left it for a day, then a couple of days in said airtight box with some rice in.

So far, the moisture APPEARS to have gone!!!!

As long as it's not been replaced by grains of rice, I'd say it's a positive result!

Funnily enough there was 1 grain of rice wedged between the winder and the body which refused to budge, got it free in the end though!!!

Is it an auto wath?

If so, it needs sorting properly, relubing and resealing asap.
