Fancy treating myself to a watch with a Perpetual Calendar, however I don't want to spend more than £1000.

Ideally I'd like a mechanical watch but given my budget I'm willing to over look the internals. Don't mind if it's new or used.

From a quick surf of the internet I've spotted the following:

Seiko SNP005P1, which is my current favourite

Citizen 8700

Bulova 96C21 Perpetual Calendar Minute Repeater

I'd love a perpetual as well.

I like the Seiko cos of the big date (bad eyes these days) and also its general 'look' but its a curious display cos it doesn't have a day indicator.

Are the others 'true perpetual'

I have a Citizen 8700 too, perpetual calendar to 2099 or 2100. I think it's one of the best value watches I have. Though I do like the look of that Bulova.
