Plenty on fleabay but i think it depends on which models. There are also a lot on chrono24.com.

I've been looking for a long time for a specific model, they were never that well sold here afaik, being considered the poor relation to Rolex in the eyes of many. I like them personally.

I've got one and I love it. It's a 1980s Tudor Prince Oysterdate, stainless with a black dial and an 18k white gold pie pan bezel. Looks nigh on identical to a colleague's Datejust but it cost me a few hundred pounds and is almost a Rolex. I bought mine off a UK eBay seller but since disocvered that it would appear he gets his watches from a guy who trades on eBay Hong Kong under the name johnnywatch and then marks them up, therefore if you're interested I suggest buying direct from johnnywatch.

Is there a connection between Tudor and Rolex? They are often sold in the same outlets.

I have a 1965 Tudor Oyster Royal. The case is made by Rolex. I don't know who the mechanism is made by though. It looks identical, bar the branding, to the equivelant Rolex model of that era.

I think they were made by Rolex as sort of a budget brand.

I like it, it is very understated yet the quality is fantastic.

Tudor is made by Rolex - on mine the case and crown both show the Rolex crown symbol. Tudor was established in the UK by Hans Wilsdorf in 1946 and used ETA movements where Rolex used in house. The watches are still produced and while they have not been sold in the States for some time, can be readily purchased in Europe and the Far East.

Speak to Rolex UK, they will be able to order it for you and it'll be cheaper than going to a dealer.

They are lovely... Bought my Tudor Chronograph 'Big Block' pearl w. black dials something like 12 years ago. Still love the thing. Movement is weak but its a great watch overall.

Cool. I will get in contact with them in the UK. I did get it as a gift from Rolex. So hopefully they can source the strap.

I must probably be the only man in the world who owns two Tudor Chrono's, both which are pretty rare, and 99.9% the same watch.

1. Tudor Oysterdate Chrono w/white face and black dials, Oyster braclet, Single clasp.

2. Tudor Princedate Chrono w/black face and white dials, Oyster braclet, single clasp.

Intrestingly, both models have the rolex crown stamped on the crown of the watch which i have never seen on any other Tudors.

I wear the Princedate everyday and it has stood up pretty well to the punishment i've given it, tho it did have a new glass last year at service time.

If im honest, i prefer my Tudor's to both my Rolex's as they are just that little bit unusual, and you rarely see another.

But i'm just a snob......
