I've dug out my old watch and, while I still really like it, I never wear it - so flogging on seems like a reasonable route to take.

Is this the right room for a 'guess the price'? I've sent the details off to watches.co.uk, to see what they suggest.... are there any other recommended sites?

So, it's a Tag Heuer Kirium Chronograph Automatic. Stainless steel, black face, looks a lot(!) like this one, except my one's better naturally smile

With papers and box, if that matters.

watches.co.uk are selling the battery version for £995, I haven't actually got round to looking anywhere else this morning.

Ta in advance!

Could be interested in that, depending on what it's thought to be worthwink

I know we're not meant to advertise here, so I'm not going to smile I'm more interested in where to get valuations, and then I can make a more informed decision as to whether to sell / trade up / keep. Thanks for your interest though, I'll bear that in mind.

FWIW watches.co.uk came back with a price at lunchtime and I'm still chuckling over it. But of course I might be miles off the mark myself smile

I am not surprised they came back with a price that made you chuckle! I asked Austin Kaye what they thought my 2006 42mm IWC Spitfire Chronograph was worth and they said £1200 or so... About half the RRP! Do they really depreciate that badly?

A look on a few specialist websites who sell them suggests not... And they don't tend to hang around long!

You could always put it on eBay and see what happens? At least you will get some offers from private buyers and you can always set a reserve where you want and if it doesn't make the reserve then you know you have aimed too high? Just IMHO!

Yes, I had a valuation on my 3 year old Breitling from the afore mentioned company this week - I had expressed interest in PE against a YG Submariner; the RRP of mine was around £14,000; they offered me £4500! Maybe they are not keen to take on additional stock ATM, maybe the there is a general downturn in the Market (which I believe to be the case), maybe they find it hard to sell high value Breitlings, maybe..who knows what!

Perhaps I should have contacted Dom!
