Any suggestions?

Looked at a Police square shaped metal strap today for 155,it was ok, but just didnt 'feel' right.

Prefer analogue, and something abit stylish.

Serious thoughts invited, or what do you have?

There are hundreds of decent watches for that budget - what are you requirements??

New or used?
Waterproof?
Chornograph?
Braclet or strap?
Any makes you really want?
Any makes you wouldn't consider?

Whilst you think about that, this is what my money would go on -

Citizen Eco-Drive Nighthawk PVD coated limited edition - £159.99 from South Devon Watches on e-Bay. They have lots of Seiko and Citizen watches under and over your budget.

I'll probably be buying this shortly:

ETA 2824-2 movement with display back, about £150. The hands won't be to everyone's tastes though.

You could do much much worse than an Ollech & Wajs M4

c£150 - try rltwatches or chronomaster

Though that said, it was a bit too much of a Rolex Sub look-a-like for me (even though the face itself reminds me more of early Heuer divers watch) which I why I went for the M1 with the military style face.

Great watch, great build quality and I don't mean great build quality for £150, I mean just great build quality full stop.

Cheers

Because for me everyone say's "Oh get the orange monster" and personally I think the black looks far classier and is far less common these days. Here is both together...

Personally I think the Black is far better looking.

The Orange (although nice) seems to be the choice of the person who just wants "the orange monster". Not someone who apprieciates what a stunningly good watch they are buying and that the "orange" is nothing more than a colour choice that everyone seems to makewink .

Ps. Obviously this is only the case in maybe 25% of buyers and most here know why they bought one but there are those who fit the above...

Can one of those be had for £200?

Incidentally, the I think the black face Monster looks nicer because the white on black date display matches the face better.

Even cheaper and I prefer the bracelet with the "carbon" look.

Have the Nighthawk and love it. Nice solid feeling piece of kit which has taken a knock or two with no ill effect.
