Anyone any experience of buying a watch from Japan over ebay?

Am considering buying a speedie from there at the moment from a powerseller with 100% feedback, just a little wary of buying from worldwide so any pointers appreciated.

Thanks

I have bought from the USA on ebay with no problems. I am probably going to buy an Omega seamaster GMT from Japan soon. Just remember you will need to pay tax and duty approx 22%.

Ive never bought a watch but ive bought other expensive things on ebay.
The most important thing is to read the feedback, even if they have 100% they might still have negative comments.
See if they have sold the same watch before and view the feedback on that particulat watch. You can even message the people who have bought before and they might reply to your email and give some honest feedback.

And remember that if it looks too good to be true, then it defintely is!!!

Checkout the price, and don't forget to add VAT and duty. Also add the cost of using a reputable courier with appropriate insurance. Can't you find a competitive UK deal, or is the watch a rarity?

Am just after a used Omega Speedie Moonwatch, for about £800/£900 but seem to keep missing out on UK ebay recently, so have started looking at some of the ones in Japan and the US.
